Booking a self-pack moving container with Budget Self Pack Containers is a straightforward process designed to get your interstate move organised quickly and efficiently. Once you’ve received your quote and are ready to proceed, we have three easy ways to confirm your move.

  1. Book Online – our moving quotes come with an easy booking link which allows you to enter the details of your move online. We will then get back to you confirming your booking. Booking this way will usually net you 10 free tea chest boxes or a discount on your move price.
  2. Book by Phone – you can call our office anytime between 6am – 4pm (AWST) to speak to one of our team. It takes around 10 minutes to lock in your delivery dates, addresses, and container placement details.
  3. Book by Email – you can simply reply to your quote email with the details of your move and we will get back to you to confirm the details.

Ready to Confirm Your Interstate Move?

When you’re ready to book your interstate moving container, we recommend either calling our office directly on 1300 659 221 or replying to your quote email to request a callback, or clicking the online booking link that you will find on the quote. Our online booking form is the quickest and easiest way to confirm a booking. Once we receive your details we will prepare a project plan for your move and contact you to discuss any further details required.

WHAT INFORMATION YOU’LL NEED

The confirmation process typically takes less than 10 minutes. Don’t worry if you’re unsure about some details—we can always finalise addresses and dates as your move progresses. Here’s what we’ll discuss during your booking call:

  • Your full name, contact email, and phone number, plus an alternative contact person in case you’re unavailable
  • Your current address (where you’re moving from)
  • Container placement on your property and which direction the doors should face—we can usually view your location through Google Maps street view to help determine the best position
  • Your preferred delivery date for the empty container and pickup date once it’s packed
  • Your destination address (where you’re moving to)
  • Credit card details for the deposit

CONFIRMATION & PAYMENT

After your booking is confirmed, we’ll send you a detailed confirmation email containing your personalized moving plan and invoice. A $300 deposit is required when booking, with the remaining balance due three business days before delivery to your destination address (or after 90 days in storage, if you are requiring longer term storage of the container between addresses).

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD YOU BOOK?

We typically need three to four days minimum to organise and deliver an empty container to most locations across Australia. During peak moving periods such as school holidays and end-of-year relocations, we recommend booking as far in advance as possible to secure your preferred dates and ensure container availability.
